Clubs:  Newton Aycliffe

Favourite sportsperson: David Beckham

Favourite TV show: Soccer AM

AT the end of 2013, Jack was named the Hartlepool Schools FA’s player of the year for Year 10 and he is determined to ensure his footballing talent helps him to earn a living when he leaves school.

Whether he makes it in professional football in England or he heads to Australia or the United States to study and play through a sports scholarship programme, he already has big ambitions.

Jack has played football from the age of seven and was playing for Hartlepool United until injury led to his release at the age of 12.

Further impressive displays for his local side, Greatham, have earned him trials at Carlisle United and Pools again – and he is desperate to earn a scholarship deal when he leaves Dyke House.

Jack enjoyed his most successful year last season when he won the town and league cup with his school team as well as being part of the victorious Arnhem Cup winning district team in Amsterdam.

The only disappointment was losing 4-3 after extra-time at the Riverside Stadium against Middlesbrough in the Ayresome Park Cup final.

Jack has represented the Cleveland County team this year and shortly after entering Year 11 he was part of the district team that won the Andrew Gibson Memorial Trophy. He is now part of Dyke House College's Elite Development Academy and plays for Newton Aycliffe.
