DARION is fully focused on fulfilling his potential with a cue and has turned to a top Scottish coach for help.
Former professional Jim Donnelly, who has previously coached top players John Higgins and Alan McManus, is guiding the Hartlepool teenager on how to improve around the green baize.
Darion was initially a keen footballer, but when he reached the Under-9s he decided kicking a ball was not for him.
Shortly after that he visited Hartlepool Snooker Centre, after trying the game out for the first time on holiday, and he quickly progressed on to the Hartlepool coaching academy.
At the age of nine he became the youngest player ever to be in the Premier League, competing nationwide at Leeds, Hull, Gloucester and Grantham ranging from Under-14s through to Under-21s.
In 2015 he reached the semi-final of the Under-21s hit a century break for the first time and finished second in the Under-19s league held at Thornaby.
