THIS talented footballer has not looked back since starting to kick a ball competitively at the age of eight – and he is determined to pursue a career in professional football.

As well as having trials with Hartlepool United and Sunderland, Cameron’s performances at school and club level have also caught the eye of Newcastle United.

He was a key member of Greatham FC - winning consecutive player of the year awards - and helped them to the Division Two title before moving to Boro Rangers.

Cameron, also a strong rugby player, is really dedicated to his football and enjoyed a magnificent 2012 by being named captain of Hartlepool Schools FA, which prompted the interest from Victoria Park.

He is an aggressive central midfielder capable of running box-to-box. His winning mentality and strong performances warranted him the captaincy in the Year 7 team.

Cameron helped Boro Rangers to the league and cup double in the same year as claiming the treble with Dyke House.
