DYKE HOUSE’S Year 8s hit High Tunstall for six to book a place in the final of the Hartlepool Schools’ FA Cup.

Michael Nesbitt and Alex Hutchinson were at the double, while both Lewis Todd and Brandon Horsley found the net to earn a 6-1 win in the last four.

Hutchinson opened up the scoring with a 25 yard strike into the top corner and followed that up ten minutes later with a second from a fantastic Thomas Lea cross that was headed back across the box by Nesbitt.

High Tunstall pulled one back early in the second half with a fantastic free-kick.

However, within two minutes of the restart some excellent play from Horsley ended with him feeding a pass through for Nesbitt to re-establish the two-goal cushion.

Shortly after that Todd and Nesbitt linked up again, with the former finishing off the move. Nesbitt scored a fine goal himself with an individual strike from the edge of the box.

The scoring stopped with the last kick of the game when man of the match Corey Crannage – who showed fantastic workrate throughout - sent in an excellent set piece for Horsley to nod home.

Ethan Usher also impressed on his debut and he hit the post after some excellent movement in the box.
