The Squad runs right throughout Dyke House College from Year 7 to Year 13.

The main intake will be in Year 7 so this exciting opportunity is going to be of interest to current primary pupils in Year 5 and Year 6. There may also be opportunities to join the Squad at other times depending on availability.

Candidates will be selected because they have been identified as talented athletes. They are likely to be playing sport at county representative level or above, or should display the potential to do so should their present circumstances not allow representative sport. Sport specific coaches in a wide range of sports complement the programme as well as a team of experienced teachers whose main aim will be to support the athletes.
